Senior Legal Adviser  

Role:

• A senior legal adviser with strong experience of work in insurance is needed
• Assists the Head of Legal/Compliance department
• Full legal support of the company
• Legal team player with ability to work independently
• Education / Experience level/ skills
• University degree in law,
• Specialty in financial/insurance law is desirable
• Strong knowledge in civil, insurance, financial, tax laws
• Proven experience of work in insurance company (life and non life insurance)  - IS A MUST!
• Fluent English written and spoken (work with bilingual contracts, communication with expats). French is a plus
• Ability to carry on commercial correspondence
• Good analytical skills and possibility to express legal opinion
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills
• High level of responsibility

Context :

• SOCIETE GENERALE Insurance is expanding its Legal Department due to fast development of its Moscow office and growth of commercial activity with its partners (BSGV, RusFinance Bank, Delta Credit Bank, Rosbank).

 
Activities:

•           Analyses /development /modification of insurance contracts, policies, insurance rules (life and non life insurance), agent agreements and other types of contracts
•           Preparation of reliable legal opinions, advices and legislative interpretation, both written and verbal, on matters relevant to the activity of the organization.
•           Preparation of legal documents: Power of Attorney, commercial correspondence, official requests, meeting minutes, documents required for registration of modifications to constitutive corporate documents, registration of securities.
•           Legal risks analyses and prevention
•           Preparation of writs, appeals, responses to claims, representation of the company  in litigations
•           Correspondence with state authorities, representation in governmental organs
•           Legislation monitoring
